COMPANY PROFILE
The Company of E W Edwardson (Electrical Contractors) Ltd was originally established in 1918 and has undergone many changes since then to be where it is today. The original Board of three Directors took over control of the company in 1988 and have managed to accomplish a steady growth throughout that period building on their considerable experience and knowledge of the electrical contracting industry including housing, industrial and commercial installations, maintenance and repairs etc. Following the retirement of one of the original Directors and the addition of three new Directors in 2009 we hope to have secured a brighter future for the company for many years to come Another step taken to keep up with the ever changing aspects of the industry is the total commitment to inspecting and testing, a requirement very much to the for with the implementation of the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671: 2008. In the past 15 years the company has carried out the complete testing of properties for Fife Council, Dundee District Council, Fife Health Service, Fife Primary Care, Angus District Council and Perth and Kinross Council including schools, homes for the elderly, police stations / headquarters etc producing full and comprehensive manuals complete with schematic diagrams.

Years with 23 years Company: Experience: Experience in managing a small to medium sized company which incorporates all aspects from the day to day problems to the finalising and concluding of contracts including all the financial implications which are required to be carried out within the company.		Years with 23 years Company: Experience: 30 years Electrical Experience, including 28 years experience in Estimating on projects to the value of £1m Including: Factories, Hospitals, Housing, Schools, Universities, Nursing Homes.		Years with 16 years Company: Experience: A wide variety of experience has been gained prior to joining the Company. Involved from tender acceptance through to the completion of minor and major contracts including liasing with Clients and Consultants.		Years with 7 years Company: Experience: Cliff worked with us in the early years of the company, and moved to gain experience in Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control systems. Rejoining the company he now looks after our fixed wire testing and portable appliance testing contracts, along with supervising small contracts.

Years with 5 Years Company: Experience: Carey joined the company back in 2006 and has proved to be a valuable asset to the company, dealing with both customers & suppliers alike and managing the buying for both Glenrothes & Perth Branches of the Company.		Years with 8 Years Company: Experience: June joined the company in 2003 on a temporary basis and has been working hard ever since, dealing primarily with the input of data generated by the Portable Appliance Testing contracts under taken by the Company.		Years with 1 Year Company: Experience: Moira joined the Company in 2010 on a temporary basis to assist June with the data input of the Portable Appliance Testing.
